On the evening of February 27, Chu Lizhi, a postgraduate student from the College of Communication Engineering (CCE) , was interviewed by CCTV journalists, as a member of the Research Group for Fixed-point Poverty Alleviation for Tongyu County.
Chu Lizhi is a member of the Research Group for Fixed-point Poverty Alleviation for Tongyu County led by Professor Yu Yinhui of our college. Since 2017, Professor Yu Yinhui has been leading the group to integrate the Internet of Things, cloud services, and smart terminals, and launch the self-developed smart agricultural Internet of Things and the stock farm managing product “Smart Breeding+” in the specialized breeding cooperatives in Tongyu County. A demonstration zone was established to realize the integration of technological transformation and technological support for poverty alleviation. These efforts enabled comprehensive smart monitoring and coordination for large-scale breeding, bringing huge economic benefits to farmers.
The Research Group for Fixed-point Poverty Alleviation for Tongyu County led by Professor Yu Yinhu was awarded “the Fifth Batch Representative Project of Targeted Poverty Alleviation in Universities directly under the Ministry of Education” and “the Second Science and Technology Prize of Jilin Province”.
