On the afternoon of April 29, 2021, the College of Communication Engineering (CCE) held the “Bringing Tangible Benefits to Faulty and Students” Practical Forum in the conference room at Basic Building, Nanling Campus. This was an effort to implement party history education and gather the strength of faculty and students in order to focus on college development and solve practical problems for faculty and students. The seminar was attended by CCE Party Secretary Zheng Dong, CCE Deputy Party Secretary and Deputy Dean Chai Hua, Deputy Dean Yan Xuezhi, Deputy Dean Li Xinbo, and Director Cong Yuliang and some teachers of the Department of Measuring and Control Technology and Instrumentations.

In the forum, CCE leaders had an in-depth exchange with the participating teachers and learned about the history and status quo of the Department of Measuring and Control Technology and Instrumentations. They also discussed the future development and difficulties of the area, the research pressure and personal development of young teachers, the improvement of CCE’s school-running conditions, the effective combination of student training and management, and students’ career prospects and outlook on career choices. The passionate discussions enabled teachers to elaborate on their ideas and suggestions, making this forum a solid success.

In the future, CEE will study the questions raised by the teachers to answer or solve them. Meanwhile, it will stay closer to the faculty and students of all departments to learn about their wishes and suggestions and solve their problems with tangible and effective benefits, so as to implement party history education.
